We are hiring a post-doctoral research associate to work on an NSFC project, which focuses on utilizing logical and formal methods (potentially integrated with machine learning) to achieve reliable and trustworthy decision-making AI systems.

Your Obligations

Your jobs include
  1. Actively discuss with your contact professor on research topics and tasks, and dedicate yourself to working on it;
  2. Actively writing research proposal (with supports);
  3. Actively publishing high-quality conference or journal research articles;
  4. Actively participating research conference or academic activities;
  5. Participating in certain innovative talent training programs (for students);
  6. Comply with other work arrangements of the department.

Qualifications

The qualified applicants are expected to
  1. hold a PhD in computer science or a related field, and generally be no older than 35 years at the time of application; or
  2. be a PhD recently (or by the starting time) graduated from universities or research institutions; or
  3. be a teaching staff, researchers, or postdoctoral fellows from universities or research institutions.
Moreover, s/he is expected to
  1. possess strong independent research ability and proficiency in writing English papers; and
  2. have research experience in areas such as knowledge representation and logical reasoning, with preference given to those who have published papers in top international journals and conferences in the relevant fields (AAAI, IJCAI, KR, ICAPS, etc.).
